In a recent meeting on green procurement, one team member said that the UN SDG goal of No Poverty is "out of our wheelhouse". 

This attitude causes us to miss significant opportunities.

The purchase of green products  reduces toxins in manufacturing, and in homes and businesses. Fewer toxins keeps our interconnected systems cleaner, and relieves us of health burdens. Fewer health issues means less time and money spent being sick, and more control over money, leading to less poverty.
