We build buildings for people, in and with nature.

Over the last 40-50 years, we have gotten very good at building buildings to separate and "protect us" from nature, and this has been to our extreme detriment as individuals, as societies, and as cultures.

When we understand the synergies between nature and our adjustments to it, we begin to realize we are nature, and working within the constraints of existing systems informs us in a way that helps us to achieve excellence, for the long-term, and for the great benefit of all entities connecting to that construct.

Reciprocity is the goal. A true interconnected understanding of how systems interrelate can help us to make choices that benefit the project we are working on, the community/culture it resides within, and the systems of nature it affects and is affected by.

WE ARE ROOM-MATES

Roommates don't have to like the same music or the same food or have the same schedules, yet the best roommates not only share the space but collaborate on the best ways to share the space.  Sometimes they even learn from each other in the process.
